Hemorrhage Control During Resuscitation of the Unstable Trauma Patient

Hemorrhage control is the number one cause of death in trauma. Bleeding can occur at any point following a traumatic injury. This presentation will describe the dangers of uncontrolled bleeding, identify different approaches to hemorrhage control, and explain when to transport critically injured patients to a higher level of care.
